ABOUT

Alex trained at Creative Academy, graduating in 2016 with a BA (hons) in Dance. She then went on to complete her DDE in Modern Theatre in 2018 and her Tap DDE in 2020 at Linda Sweetzer Teacher Training college.

Since graduating Alex has built up her teaching portfolio working for companies such as The Education Group, facilitating Dance workshops to primary schools across the UK. Busylizzy teaching mother and baby sensory classes. Dance schools such as Anna Rose Dance, and SOTA teaching Ballet, Tap and Modern to children and adults. She is also a part time carer for her two sisters who both have Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy.

Alex has always had a passion for working with children and young adults with disabilities and using dance to bring all abilities together.

She choreographed a duet using her sister and one of the students at creative in her final year at Creative Academy, and she was also fortunate to work with Stopgap Dance company, where she volunteered with their youth company in 2016. She has also volunteered with A Chance to Dance in 2018 helping at their Easter and Summer Camps.
